Rev. Dr. Ken Ramsey
The Rev. Dr. Ken A. Ramsey, was the District Superintendent of the Wesleyan District of The United Methodist Church from 2008-2012. Originally from Mt. Nebo, West Virginia, in Nicholas County, Dr. Ramsey began his ministry in 1980 on the Frenchton Charge in Upshur County and has also served at Bridgeport UMC (1986-1989), United Methodist Temple in Clarksburg (1989-1997), and at Wesley United Methodist Church in Morgantown (1997-2008). In addition to numerous preaching events across the country, he has engaged in an active teaching ministry as an Evangelism and Faith Sharing Seminar leader in ten different Annual Conferences and three countries. He also teaches in the area of contemporary theology, Biblical preaching and interpretation, worship and the sacraments, and church leadership and administration. Dr. Ramsey received his Bachelor’s degree from West Virginia Wesleyan College (1984), his Master of Divinity degree from Candler School of Theology of Emory University in Atlanta (1986), and his Doctor of Ministry degree from United Theological Seminary in Dayton, Ohio (1991). He has two children, Jared, a 2011 MBA graduate of WVU, and Kristen, a nursing student at WVU. Married in June 2010, he and his wife Charlea reside in Bridgeport, where she also teaches at Bridgeport High School.

Rev. Dr. Dan Kimble
Rev. Dr. Dan Kimble brings a wealth of experience and a heartfelt commitment to Christ and the church. He received his Bachelor’s degree from Wesleyan, his Master of Divinity, and Doctor of Ministry degrees from United Theological Seminary. The focus of his doctoral study was mission and outreach. He started out on the Adrian Charge in Upshur County in 1980 and has served churches in Doddridge and Monongalia Counties. He took a leave from ministry in 1996 to pursue a law degree from W.V.U. which he obtained in 1999. He also holds an M.B.A. from W.V.U.

Rev. Ben H. Randolph
The Reverend Ben H. Randolph, Associate Minister, began his appointment to Bridgeport United Methodist Church on July 1, 2019. Ben is a graduate of Bridgeport High School and went on to receive his business degree in Finance from West Virginia University. Ben also holds a Master of Business Administration from WVU. He completed the studies for licensing as a local pastor and is enrolled in advanced theological studies as he continues forward. Aside from ongoing corporate employment, he served The Clarksburg Mission for 2 years as Director of Finance and now serves on its Board of Directors. Ben enjoys sharing his faith among various youth sports organizations. At Bridgeport UMC, he will be responsible for pastoral duties including the development of various family programs. Ben also has extensive experience in pastoral care in times of family or personal crisis and leads our Revive Recovery Ministry in a pastoral role. Ben resides with his wife, Christa, and their two children - Taylor and Alex.

Sarah Carr Pasons
Mrs. Sarah Carr Parsons, director of music ministry, is in her twenty-second year of music ministry at Bridgeport UMC. A graduate of Buckhannon-Upshur High School, in Buckhannon, WV, Carr Parsons received a bachelor of arts degree in applied music from West Virginia Wesleyan College, Buckhannon, WV; a master’s degree in choral conducting from Southern Methodist University in Dallas under the tutelage of Lloyd Pfautch; and a master’s degree of sacred music from the Perkins School of Theology. She holds a Level III certification from the Choral Music Experience Institute under the direction of Doreen Rao. Among her responsibilities as director of music ministry, Carr Parsons has oversight to all church choirs and instrumental ensembles for children, youth, and adults. She and her team of dedicated and talented lay musicians, provide spiritual growth as well as enjoyment and inspiration to each worship experience. Carr Parsons is also the artistic director and founder of the Chanticleer Children’s Chorus and has extensive experience as a performer, conductor, and teacher.
