The United Methodist Women’s Reading Program is a key piece of mission education. Every United Methodist Woman should read and study about various parts of the world and issues faced by their neighbors near and far. Through our books, Response Magazine, and New World Outlook Magazine, we can find out the wonderful things our UMW are doing here and abroad.
The Financial Interpreter in your Circle should try to encourage each member to read the above publications. At each meeting, have the Financial Interpreter turn in the number of books and magazines read each month.
Please turn this number into Carolyn Burnett or Bea Quigley. We’ll be keeping a record on a chart that will be in the library. Rather than posting individual names, we will list each of the circles with the number of books and magazines read each month.
Let’s see which circle reads the most this year!
