Adults

At Bridgeport United Methodist Church we provide learning opportunities for children, youth, and adults to grow in their spiritual lives. Our hope is to develop people who are highly motivated and well informed in their faith so that they can be more effective disciples of Jesus Christ.

We offer several adult Sunday School Classes which meet on Sunday at 9:30 a.m.

  • Adult Bible Class - Children’s Chapel (Main Building)
  • Men’s Sunday School Class - Heritage Room (Main Building)
  • Family Focus Class, Rev. Steve Engle’s Class - Junior Chapel (Main Building)
  • Upper Room Class - Rooms 28 and 29 (Education Building)
  • Rev. Jim Lang’s Class - Library (Education Building)

We also offer a Sister’s Study Group that meets on Wednesdays at 12 noon in the Heritage Room, and a Lectionary Bible Study that meets each Thursday at 10:00 a.m. in the Library.  Periodically, we offer Disciple Bible Studies (32 week study) as well as other short-term topical studies.
